Welcome to our F.A.M.I.L.Y.! The name stands for Friends of Alagad ni Maria Involved in Leading the Youth. The F.A.M.I.L.Y. is a group of very enthusiastic and dedicated adult lay volunteers from different parishes. It was conceived in 2009 in Anaheim, California whose primary goal is to provide support to Alagad ni Maria (Disciples of Mary) religious community’s mission of “Bringing Christ to the Youth and the Youth to Christ through Mary”.

In its humble beginning, the group raised funds by organizing concerts in 2009, 2010 and 2012. These fundraising efforts provided much needed funds which benefited various projects such as: the youth ministry in public & private high schools in the Philippines, the ongoing formation of priests and seminarians of Alagad ni Maria (A.M.), the much needed repair of the chapel for Novitiate and the Tahanan Nasaret Youth Center in the Prelature of Infanta, Quezon and the construction of the beautiful St. Joseph Chapel in A.M.’s seminary grounds in Antipolo, Rizal. The latter was consecrated on December 30, 2012.

Besides helping support the youth ministry programs of Alagad ni Maria in the Philippines, the F.A.M.I.L.Y. organizes various events to support the newly established Young Disciples of Mary (Y.D.M.) in Anaheim, California in all of its spiritual & fun-filled activities. The F.A.M.I.L.Y. also spearheads the vocation assistance program of A.M. in the United States.

F.A.M.I.L.Y. members are quite busy all year long with different events and activities. But they know that the busier they become, the greater is their need for spiritual nourishment and enrichment. The A.M. priests conduct regular retreats and fellowship activities to provide such spiritual support to all F.A.M.I.L.Y. members.
